Complimentary StitchSaver™ Row Checker

Designer Knitting Pattern
This designer knitting pattern created for 100% hemp yarn is light, airy and washable. It is written with just the right amount of ease to provide a comfy, casual fit. Worked from the bottom up, the stripes are simple yarn over drop stitches, and the boatneck trim is created with twisted stitch ribbing. The sleeves are worked flat like the body and sewn in under armhole trim to hide the seam while creating a beautiful fashion detail.

This designer knitting pattern includes instructions for all sizes, a list of all abbreviations, a schematic for accurate blocking, and a glossary of terms. It is accompanied by our proprietary StitchSaver™ Row Checker. Plus, a link is provided to Knitting Help on our web site.

StitchSaver™ Row Checker

“It is hard to make a mistake with our unique complimentary Row Checker. It helps you keep track of stitch count row-by-row for each section of the pattern, plus all increase and decrease shaping. With check off boxes for each row you can put this project aside for a week, a month or a year and return to the exact spot where you stopped.” - James

Yarn
Lana Knits’ allhemp6, 100% hemp, 165 yards,151meters, 3.5 oz./100 grams

Like linen, hemp is remarkably durable yet gets softer with each washing. And perhaps more importantly a perfect example of sustainability. It is stronger and softer than cotton, will last twice as long and will not mildew. An acre of hemp will produce as much fiber as 2 to 3 acres of cotton. Cotton grows only in moderate climates and requires more water than hemp, which is also frost tolerant and grows in all 50 states, including Alaska. Isn’t that amazing? While pesticides and herbicides are used in the production of other fibers, hemp requires none. It is truly a wonder fiber.

Testimonials

Sophisticated, elegant, stylish, chic. After seeing James’ collection, I may give up needlepoint.

These designs take men's sweaters to a whole new level of luxury and deliciousness. Might have to get a new man once my divorce goes through, just so I can knit him a James Cox Knits sweater.
