StitchSaver Row Checker
It is hard to make a mistake with my unique Row Checker. It helps you keep track of stitch count row-by-row for each section of the pattern, plus all increase and decrease shaping. With check off boxes for each row you can put this project aside for a week, a month or a year and return to the exact spot where your stopped.

Knitting Help
For your convenience, we’ve collected definitions for abbreviations, links to tutorial videos that may make knitting your project easier and more fun, as well as guides to techniques and tailoring. Visit the  Knitting Help page on our website.

Pattern
Our favorite sporty sweater has been re-imagined in luscious Basis fingering weight. The pairing of two variegated yarns that were meant to be united almost guarantees compliments when you finish this project.

The sleeves and body are knitted separately in stockinette, then sewn together to create a classic crewneck. Both the upper body and sleeves are worked flat from the top down to the bottom of the armhole. Then the lower body and sleeves are worked in the round from the armhole to the cuff and hem. Tackle this modern version of a classic sporty sweater and you’re sure to have a homerun.

Pattern and StitchSaver™ Row Checker
This pattern includes a list of all abbreviations, glossary of terms, and a crisp schematic with dimensions for proper blocking. It also comes with our unique Row Checker. A tool you can use to help keep track of your stitch count, row number, increases, and decreases. Throughout the pattern you’ll find indicators of when to refer to your Row Checker.

Yarn
Trendsetter’s Basis, Fingering, 75% Micro-Fiber Cotton, 16% Wool, 9% Cashmere

This very light and very special blend. Microfibers of cool, soft cotton, wrap around a blend of resilient wool   cashmere to add a luxurious glow. It provides clear stitch definition and has a delightful hand when knitting, because while being cotton based it knits like wool. And last but not least the color variegations include some subtle touches to elevate the sophistication of your finished work.

The on-screen color representations for yarn may not be precise representations of actual colors due to variance in monitor calibrations.

    Testimonials

Sophisticated, elegant, stylish, chic. After seeing James’ collection, I may give up needlepoint.

These designs take men's sweaters to a whole new level of luxury and deliciousness. Might have to get a new man once my divorce goes through, just so I can knit him a James Cox Knits sweater.
