On those summer nights when there is a bit of chill in the air or you’re on the beach at sunset, a light and airy wrap can feel just right. And when you’re traveling a versatile fashion accessory that doubles as a wrap or a scarf is the ideal addition to your wardrobe. The Jo Anne wrap/scarf is designed for Solo Lino, the almost unbelievably soft recycled linen. This sport weight wonder is a delight to knit and feels wonderful against your skin. The fact that the durable 100% linen gets softer with each washing means over time you’ll love it even more.
This truly simple project is designed to be relaxing. So, just cast on, knit the same stitch every row and bind off. How’s that for relaxation?

The kit for this scarf, with yarn and downloadable knitting pattern, comes with a backpack-style project bag. On the front of the backpack is a zippered pouch with a porthole. You can insert the ball of yarn from which you’re knitting and run the yarn through the porthole, so if you like, you can even knit while walking down the street.
Meditation Every Day
“James taught me to use knitting as my daily meditation. I’m still an overworked restauranteur, but one that has more patience and less stress.”
