FREE UNIQUE ROW CHECKER
After finishing this design I liked wearing it so much that I created versions for both fingering and worsted weight yarn. So one can do as I do and wear it year round. The stockinette yoke combined with a generous grid of open eyelet and fitted ribbing on the body and arms works to expand the chest and diminish the waist. The worsted weight yields a looser fit while the fingering option produces a lighter weight sweater that hugs the body. This top down design without seams and with invisible raglan increases provides techniques that add up to a pattern that is both interesting and rewarding. Haven’t knitted a top-down sweater before? Don’t worry. Here’s a free, printable PDF of top-down knitting instructions. And the result of your needlework could add up to a great gift for yourself or someone else. Then again, if you like it as much as I do, two gifts.
Pattern and Row Checker
This pattern is nicely printed on card stock in a handy pocket size. A list of all abbreviations, glossary of terms, and a crisp schematic with dimensions for proper blocking are included. It also comes with my unique Row Checker. A tool you can use to help keep track of your stitch count, row number, increases, and decreases. Throughout the pattern you’ll find indicators of when to refer to your Row Checker.
