This design uses eight patterns that are mirrored in a sequence from end to end.
When I wanted to create a wrap and scarf that is truly reversible, I searched through my collection of over 200 reversible stitch patterns. Then selected a few that are equally beautiful on both sides. The result is 16 different stitches.
For the yarn, I decided on two options: Basis, a blend of cotton, alpaca and cashmere; or Solo Lino, 80% recycled linen, 20% linen. Both are remarkable. Basis because its 75% cotton but you’re sure to believe it is entirely alpaca and cashmere. It does not feel, look or knit like a yarn that’s mostly cotton. The blended strand of alpaca and cashmere is wrapped in micro thin strands of cotton, which leave a glow of ultra-soft coziness. And Solo Lino because it doesn’t have the stiffness of linen yarn, instead its delightfully silky.
