Marilyn Wrap/Scarf Pattern
Regular price $ 15.00For the Marilyn Wrap/Scarf Kit - Click Here
When I wanted to create a wrap and scarf that is truly reversible, I searched through my collection of over 200 reversible stitch patterns. Then selected a few that are equally beautiful on both sides. This design uses eight patterns that are mirrored in a sequence from end to end. The result is 16 different stitches.
For the yarn, I decided on two options: Basis, a blend of cotton, alpaca and cashmere; or Solo Lino, 80% recycled linen, 20% linen. Both are remarkable. Basis because its 75% cotton but you’re sure to believe it is entirely alpaca and cashmere. It does not feel, look or knit like a yarn that’s mostly cotton. The blended strand of alpaca and cashmere is wrapped in micro thin strands of cotton, which leave a glow of ultra-soft coziness. And Solo Lino because it doesn’t have the stiffness of linen yarn, instead its delightfully silky.

Diana Snowflake Wrap Pattern
Regular price $ 10.00For Diana Snowflake Wrap - Click Here
This could be the softest, lightest scarf you will ever make.
When I first saw Ecopuno yarn in white I immediately thought of light, fluffy snow. Snowflakes melt in your hand and this yarn seems to do the same.
I began to conceive snowflakes, large and small, fashioned from tiny eyelets. But I found all the options for creating eyelets disappointing. Needing them to be symmetrical, I created my own unique stitch. So, as you work this pattern, you’ll learn the new James’ Symmetrical Eyelet stitch.
And you’ll discover that this blend of the softest cotton with merino and alpaca is remarkable. What makes it so remarkable is the fact that it is 75% cotton, but you’re sure to believe it is entirely merino and alpaca. It is like knitting with air, when the air is filled with delicate snowflakes.

Jo Anne Wrap/Scarf Pattern

On those summer nights when there is a bit of chill in the air or you’re on the beach at sunset, a light and airy wrap can feel just right. And when you’re traveling a versatile fashion accessory that doubles as a wrap or a scarf is the ideal addition to your wardrobe. The Jo Anne wrap/scarf is designed for Solo Lino, the almost unbelievably soft recycled linen. This sport weight wonder is a delight to knit and feels wonderful against your skin. The fact that the durable 100% linen gets softer with each washing means over time you’ll love it even more.
This truly simple project is designed to be relaxing. So, just cast on, then knit the same stitch every row and bind off. How’s that for relaxation?

Marcella Wrap Pattern

This Peruvian yarn is a blend of soft superwash merino and bamboo and is made with strength and wearability in mind. The perfect amount of spring makes knitting with it a pleasure and allows for a variety of suitable gauges. Available in a wide range of lustrous solids, this washable, long lasting yarn is perfect for socks, sweaters, accessories, kid’s garments.
Inspired by the Marcella Kimono Cardigan, this piece is worked sideways. An openwork stitch pattern is combined with subtle, visible floats to create a mirrored design. One half is started in the center with provisional cast on stitches and worked to the edge. Then the provisional stitches are picked up and the second half is worked to the opposite edge. Enjoy the beautiful hand of Sueño as you knit, then slip into your cozy wrap and relax with a cup of tea.

Audrey Mosaic Wrap Pattern
Regular price $ 7.00This design will surprise you for two reasons. It may look complicated, but you’ll discover it’s rather simple. The mosaic knitting technique is the most delightful way to do color work. You knit each row with only one color at a time incorporating slip stitches and eliminating half of the floats on the back side of your fabric. The second surprise is the yarn. Ecopuno looks, feels and behaves like the beautiful blend of alpaca and merino that it is, but it’s 72% cotton. So, be prepared to be surprised as you work this project and delighted when you finish it.

“James taught me to use knitting as my daily meditation. I’m still an overworked restauranteur, but one that has more patience and less stress.”
