This yarn is the result of an international love affair between a colorful German and an elegant Peruvian. Zauberball Crazy and Sueño DK are a perfect couple. Each of the dual plies of Zauberball Crazy are dyed in distinctive variegations before being twisted together. The color blending is seductive. While the pairing of superwash merino and bamboo makes for a Peruvian yarn that you simply can’t resist.

This yarn is remarkable and everyone who uses it falls in love. Between the blend of fibers and the construction of the yarn the result is extremely elastic and almost guarantees flawless gauge as you work. The finished fabric provides a nice combination of stitch definition and a subtle textured surface that feels so soft on your skin. It works nicely on a range of needle sizes, so you may have found your new best friend.

The mosaic technique is the star of this designer knitting pattern. Watch 2-color stitch patterns appear as you work with only one color at a time.
Designer Knitting Pattern This pattern is equally rewarding for beginners and experienced knitters. The mosaic technique allows you to create two-color patterns while working with only one color at a time. It’s like a beginner pattern in the round, but produces a finished cowl that experienced knitters can be proud of.
Both yarns are very light, remarkable blends of alpaca and/or soft merino wool wrapped with micro threads of cotton. Each yarn has excellent stitch definition. They have the elasticity and bounce of animal fibers. Yet, they’re mostly cotton – almost unbelievable. So, if in the past you have not enjoyed working with cotton, these yarns will surely change your mind.

Here’s something new and beautiful. A unique approach to mosaic knitting. A rotation of single rows that integrate three colors.
Designer Knitting Pattern Mosaic knitting has enjoyed a loyal following since the 1960s when Barbara Walker developed this delightful technique. Now, you can learn something new. Instead of working a graphic mosaic pattern alternating between double rows in two colors, alternate between three colors in single rows. The resulting overall fabric has a beautiful blend of colors nicely integrated. Every stitch becomes a slip stitch and all rows interlock flawlessly.
The Lucca cowl pattern is worked with the yarn double stranded in each color. So, the fabric is extra sturdy, and the cowl is extra cozy. It is a lovely introduction to this new approach to mosaic knitting.

Here’s a truly unique scarf knitting pattern. The knitting goes vertically, horizontally and diagonally too.

Designer Knitting Patterns This designer knitting pattern was inspired by the discovery of the fascinating horizontal stitch technique. Imagine you’re working in stockinette, but every few rows the stitches turn 90 degrees and travel sideways. The Jackie scarf starts and ends with only 11 stitches but grows into a kerchief-style scarf. The fun part is every fourth row is worked horizontally, which is sure to entertain you.
The finished piece is a delightful combination of stockinette with horizontal rows that also – surprise – travel a bit diagonally. The pattern was created with Soffio yarn, a wonderfully luscious cashmere blend that knits up beautifully on size 10.5 needles. How’s that for a quick, fun project

The variegated stripes in this designer knitting pattern start and end with magic knots, which create fringe on both sides of this designer scarf.
Complimentary StitchSaver™ Row Checker
Designer Knitting Patterns This scarf is worked sideways in easy does it garter stitch. The fun part is the center portion where stripes of variegated yarn start and end with magic knots. When each magic knot is tied, two 6” /15 cm tails of yarn are left hanging from the knot. These tails create rows of fringe on both sides of the scarf.
The pattern includes a list of all abbreviations, and a glossary of terms. It is accompanied by our proprietary StitchSaver™ Row Checker. Plus, a link is provided to Knitting Help on our web site.

This designer knitting pattern is created with reversible stitch patterns that are unique on each side.
When I first created the reversible Mailyn wrap and scarf designer knitting pattern, I searched through my collection of over 200 reversible knitting stitch patterns. Then selected a few that are equally beautiful on both sides. The response to Marilyn has been wonderful so I was inspired to create the Marilyn Reversible Cowl. It also uses the same eight stitch patterns, seven are unique on each side. The result is like two cowls in one.
The yarn for which this cowl was created is Sueño, a blend of merino and bamboo. The stitch definition is excellent. It’s extremely soft, feels wonderful when in your hands and while it caresses your neck and shoulders.
