Crocheted Sea Urchins

Crocheted Sea Urchins

Art Historian, Kelly Richman-Abdou, shares a spectacular installation at i Light Marina Bay Festival, a sustainability-focused event in Singapore.  Choi+Shine Architects created The Urchins, 3 hand crafted crocheted sculptures. Each work of interactive art symbolizes the beauty and diversity of nature. The Urchins rely on natural light to cast ephemeral, ever-changing shadows. Each sculpture organically moves when touched by the wind or even visitors. To read Kelly's full story CLICK HERE. Image via Choi+Shine Architects
