In-Flight Knitting

In-Flight Knitting

If you’re like me, you always take a knitting project along when traveling. It seems to make the trips shorter. And certainly more enjoyable. This week I’m flying from an island in the Caribbean to the desert—St. John to Palm Springs. Here’s what I’ll be knitting on the flight. This Tina scarf needs only two balls of yarn and needles. Not long after I land I’ll have this new pattern available.

This stitch pattern is my version of one that I liked but it skewed to the right. So, I created a stitch, the Trio Stitch. It is symmetrical and results in a beautiful, airy fabric. Discover this four stitch repeat with double decreases and increases in a single stitch. Then enjoy knitting my Tina scarf on a future flight. Safe Travels!

Cheers, James
