YOUR TUSCAN CREATIVE KNITTING RETREAT
This summer I spent a glorious week at The Watermill, a creative retreat that is at the site of a restored historic watermill in the mountains of Tuscany. I taught a one-week course for delightful knitters from America and Europe. Everyone loved the beautiful guest rooms, gardens and fine dining. The setting is spectacular. Water from the Posara river that once powered the watermills flows right under the buildings.
Our gracious hosts, Lois and Bill, organized wonderful outings, so we took our knitting to an ancient convent, the lovely walled city of Lucca and the spectacular seaside villages of the Cinque Terre overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
