Should men knit?

I've been knitting for 40 years and have often wondered why more men don't knit. But I've never questioned if they should. Actually, some credit men with inventing knitting in ancient Egypt. So, when David Pyle recently posed the question in Interweave magazine it caught my eye. He shared rather diverse views including the belief that if men "invaded" knitting it would become competitive and testosterone driven. Then there was the belief that it would bring some mindful balance and grace onto lives that need it. I found the latter to be the case. To read his story click here. — James
