Turn A Winter Pattern into Summer Fashion

Turn A Winter Pattern into Summer Fashion

A while back I designed a sweater for a luscious, wintery merino yarn. I was so pleased with the result that I wore it almost every day for a couple weeks. In fact, I liked it so much that I wanted to wear it year-round. So, I simply re-knit it in a soft, cool cotton and created a summer version that I wear without a shirt. Now, I'm having fun turning a winter scarf into a breezy summer fashion statement. It's a simple pattern that produces a reversible accessory. I re-knitted it in linen and find the result is equally beautiful, but soft and light. It's the finishing touch with my cotton blazer and adds a bit of panache when I'm in t-shirt and jeans. If you give it a try let me know what you think. Cheers — James
