Madison is a modern take on the classic tattersall patterned vest, complete with an adjustable waist band on the back. It is worked top down, with a provisional cast on joining the shoulders. The vertical tattersall stripes are added in crochet.

Ecopuno – 72% Cotton, 17% Merino, 11% Alpaca – DK weight

Ecopuno Tweed – 61% Cotton, 15% Poly, 14% Alpaca, 10% Wool – DK Weight

Both yarns are a remarkable blend of alpaca and soft wool wrapped with micro threads of cotton. They have the elasticity and bounce of animal fibers. Yet, they’re mostly cotton – almost unbelievable. So, if in the past you have not enjoyed working with cotton, these yarns will surely change your mind.

The on-screen color representations for yarn may not be precise representations of actual colors due to variance in monitor calibrations.

Ecopuno Tweed – 23 sts and 29 rows = 4"/10cm

Ecopuno – 21sts and 29 rows = 4”/10cm

Sophisticated, elegant, stylish, chic. After seeing James’ collection, I may give up needlepoint.

These designs take men's sweaters to a whole new level of luxury and deliciousness. Might have to get a new man once my divorce goes through, just so I can knit him a James Cox Knits sweater.
