When I first created the reversible Marilyn wrap and scarf designer knitting pattern, I searched through my collection of over 200 reversible knitting stitch patterns. Then selected a few that are equally beautiful on both sides. The response to Marilyn has been wonderful so I was inspired to create the Marilyn Reversible Cowl. It also uses the same eight stitch patterns, seven are unique on each side. The result is like two cowls in one.
The yarn for which this cowl was created is Merino 6, ultrafine merino. The stitch definition is excellent. It’s extremely soft, feels wonderful when in your hands and while it caresses your neck and shoulders.

Merino 6 - 100% Superfine Merino Wool – 135 yards, 50 grams
This high-quality merino yarn is designed to be extra smooth as well as soft. A six ply, high twist, washable yarn with loft and stretch, so it’s not only easy to care for, but also to knit.
