Here is a contemporary take on the classic raglan sweater. Bands of slip-stitch rib create the raglan detail and provide an elegantly subtle fashion statement.

Complimentary StitchSaver™ Row Checker

Designer Knitting Pattern
This top down design has no seams to be sewn. It combines traditional stockinette with a fresh approach to shaping the yoke. The neck is shaped and the yoke is worked while raglan pattern bands are created between the front, back and sleeves. At the underarm, the body and sleeve stitches are separated, then each section is worked in the round and finished with a ribbed hem and cuffs. Stitches are picked up along the cast on edge and a ribbed neckband completes the sweater. The result is a timeless creation in a luxurious, natural blend of fibers.

StitchSaver™ Row Checker

“It is hard to make a mistake with our unique complimentary Row Checker. It helps you keep track of stitch count row-by-row for each section of the pattern, plus all increase and decrease shaping. With check off boxes for each row you can put this project aside for a week, a month or a year and return to the exact spot where you stopped.” - James

Testimonials

Sophisticated, elegant, stylish, chic. After seeing James’ collection, I may give up needlepoint.

These designs take men's sweaters to a whole new level of luxury and deliciousness. Might have to get a new man once my divorce goes through, just so I can knit him a James Cox Knits sweater.
