WHAT’S INCLUDED
ABOUT THIS DESIGN
The Merlin Magic Knot Wrap is a beginner level project that produces results any advanced knitter will admire. While working in simple, meditative stockinette, you can introduce dashes of color whenever you feel inspired. Each time inspiration strikes you will join the new color with the magic knot, then at the end of your dash of color tie the magic knot again returning to the original color. This remarkably simple technique is extremely reliable when working with yarns that are not slippery. A bit of friction between the two yarns does the trick. All the yarn tails are trimmed off each knot as you work so there is no extra finishing. The best part is you have a wrap that is your own unique creation.

THE YARN
Ecopuno – 75% Cotton, 17% Merino, 11% Alpaca – 235 yards/215 meters – 50 grams – DK weight
This yarn is a remarkable blend of alpaca and soft merino wool wrapped with micro threads of cotton. It has excellent stitch definition with the elasticity and bounce of animal fibers. Yet it's mostly cotton—almost unbelievable. If in the past you haven't enjoyed working with cotton, this yarn will change your mind.
On-screen colors may vary from actual yarn due to monitor calibration and dye lot variations.
