This cowl designer knitting pattern is created with 8 reversible stitch patterns that are unique on each side.

To view the Marilyn Wrap/Scarf click here.

When I first created the reversible Mailyn wrap and scarf pattern, I searched through my collection of over 200 reversible stitch patterns and selected a few that are equally beautiful on both sides. The response to Marilyn has been wonderful so I was inspired to create the Marilyn cowl. Like the wrap and scarf, the cowl uses the same eight stitch patterns, and seven are unique on each side. The result is like two cowls in one.

The yarn for which this cowl was created is Ecopuno, a blend of cotton, merino and alpaca. It is remarkable because while being 74% cotton, you are sure to believe it is purely merino and alpaca. It is extremely soft and feels wonderful in your hands while caressing your neck and shoulders.

Testimonials

Sophisticated, elegant, stylish, chic. After seeing James’ collection, I may give up needlepoint.

These designs take men's sweaters to a whole new level of luxury and deliciousness. Might have to get a new man once my divorce goes through, just so I can knit him a James Cox Knits sweater.
