Designer Knitting Pattern
Mosaic knitting has enjoyed a loyal following since the 1960s when Barbara Walker developed this delightful technique. Now, you can learn something new. Instead of working a graphic mosaic pattern alternating between double rows in two colors, alternate between three colors in single rows. The resulting overall fabric has a beautiful blend of colors nicely integrated. Every stitch becomes a slip stitch and all rows interlock flawlessly.
The Lucca cowl pattern is worked with the yarn double stranded in each color. So, the fabric is extra sturdy, and the cowl is extra cozy. It is a lovely introduction to this new approach to mosaic knitting.
