Marcella Wrap Pattern
This Peruvian yarn is a blend of soft superwash merino and bamboo and is made with strength and wearability in mind. The perfect amount of spring makes knitting with it a pleasure and allows for a variety of suitable gauges. Available in a wide range of lustrous solids, this washable, long lasting yarn is perfect for socks, sweaters, accessories, kid’s garments.
Inspired by the Marcella Kimono Cardigan, this piece is worked sideways. An openwork stitch pattern is combined with subtle, visible floats to create a mirrored design. One half is started in the center with provisional cast on stitches and worked to the edge. Then the provisional stitches are picked up and the second half is worked to the opposite edge. Enjoy the beautiful hand of Sueño as you knit, then slip into your cozy wrap and relax with a cup of tea.
