This could be the sweater your favorite guy or gal will like so much that he or she passes it down someday to a son, daughter, nephew, niece, protégé or grandchild.
Complimentary StitchSaver™ Row Checker
Designer Knitting Pattern
The sweater pattern uses a progression that changes from light to dark as you knit down, making the shoulders look bigger and the waist smaller. Who wouldn’t like that? Designed for durable, bulky-weight yarn, this pattern knits up very fast on large needles, so enjoy making it while you can, as you will finish quickly.
A top-down design, knitting starts with the neck shaping, followed by raglan shaping which helps to create a tailored look while working the yoke of the sweater—front, back and sleeves—all at once and in the round. Like all top-down sweaters that are knitted in one piece without seams, you can easily check the fit—shoulders, chest, sleeves, length—as you knit. Haven’t knitted a top-down sweater before? Don’t worry. Here’s a free, printable PDF of top-down knitting instructions.
This pattern includes instructions for all sizes, a list of all abbreviations, glossary of terms, and a crisp schematic with dimensions for proper blocking. The pattern also includes my proprietary StitchSaver™ Row Checker. Plus, a link is provided to Knitting Help on my web site.
