Hunter uses the basketweave stitch pattern in three sizes to create a fresh look for this classic pullover sweater.

Complimentary StitchSaver™ Row Checker

Designer Knitting Pattern
The Hunter knitting pattern is worked top down from the neck to the waist and cuffs. A large basketweave stitch pattern is used for the upper yoke, then a medium size pattern for the body and small for the abdomen, before ribbing is added at the waist. It guides you in the creation of a seamless sweater that can be removed from your needles at any time to test the fit. And to allow for tailoring at the waist and working to a length that suits your own personal style.

This is an excellent pattern for intermediate knitters. It includes instructions for all sizes, a list of all abbreviations, a schematic for accurate blocking, and a glossary of terms. Plus, a link is provided to Knitting Help on our web site.

StitchSaver™ Row Checker

“It is hard to make a mistake with our unique complimentary Row Checker. It helps you keep track of stitch count row-by-row for each section of the pattern, plus all increase and decrease shaping. With check off boxes for each row you can put this project aside for a week, a month or a year and return to the exact spot where you stopped.”

Testimonials

Sophisticated, elegant, stylish, chic. After seeing James’ collection, I may give up needlepoint.

These designs take men's sweaters to a whole new level of luxury and deliciousness. Might have to get a new man once my divorce goes through, just so I can knit him a James Cox Knits sweater.
