Designer Knitting Pattern
A small waist always sounds good for a man or a woman. With Blair’s progressive two-color transition from light to dark, your waist may look smaller, and your shoulders may seem to get a bit broader. A chiseled torso or maybe an hourglass figure? But the real fun of this pattern is knitting the easy does it rice stitch. It creates a beautiful textured grid. The top-down raglan-sleeved design guarantees the stitch pattern as well as the stripes work out perfectly. Pick two of your favorite colors, bold or subtle, and make plans to enjoy creating a new project that your body may find very flattering.

This pattern includes instructions for all sizes, a list of all abbreviations, a schematic for accurate blocking, and a glossary of terms. It is accompanied by our proprietary StitchSaver™ Row Checker. Plus, a link is provided to Knitting Help on our web site.

Yarn
Schoppel’s ALB Lino - 85% Virgin Wool, 15% Linen, 437 Yards/100 grams

This stunning yarn combines white linen from France with richly dyed virgin wool from the Swabian Alps, providing a spectacular visual texture. The wool contributes bounce, wearability and structure, and the strong breathable linen softens with wear. It’s the perfect yarn for a long-lived sweater.

Gauge
24 sts and 30 rows = 4"/10cm in Stockinette after blocking.

Testimonials

Sophisticated, elegant, stylish, chic. After seeing James’ collection, I may give up needlepoint.

These designs take men's sweaters to a whole new level of luxury and deliciousness. Might have to get a new man once my divorce goes through, just so I can knit him a James Cox Knits sweater.
