StitchSaver™ Row Checker
It is hard to make a mistake with my unique Row Checker. It helps you keep track of stitch count row-by-row for each section of the pattern, plus all increase and decrease shaping. With check off boxes for each row you can put this project aside for a week, a month or a year and return to the exact spot where your stopped.
For your convenience, we’ve collected definitions for abbreviations, links to tutorial videos that may make knitting your project easier and more fun, as well as guides to techniques and tailoring. Visit the Knitting Help page on our website.
It was René Lacoste, the legendary French tennis player, who first conceived what we know today as the polo shirt. This pattern is inspired by René and designed so every knitter can enjoy the pleasure of hand-crafting a shirt that is as comfortable as the original design from 1929. The pattern is worked from the top down in one piece so the only seam to be sewn is the body hem. The shoulders and neck are shaped using German short rows, stitches are picked up around the arm hole, the body and arms are worked in the round. Alternating stockinette and twisted stockinette create a subtle sophisticated vertical stripe pattern. This knitting pattern includes a list of all abbreviations, glossary of terms, and a crisp schematic with dimensions for proper blocking.
HiKoo’s CoBaSi, Fingering, 55% Cotton, 16% Bamboo, 8% Silk, 21% Elastic Nylon
In this amazing blend of fibers, the cotton and bamboo are the basis for a washable yarn, silk adds strength, and elastic nylon helps the finished garment hold its shape. The result is soft and gentle with a wool-like stretch.
The on-screen color representations for yarn may not be precise representations of actual colors due to variance in monitor calibrations.
