Designer Knitting Pattern
A band of little cables in ribbing starts the pattern. These cables are a delight because they do not require a cable needle. Then after adding 6 double increases every few rows, followed by double decreases you’ll have reached the crown of the hat. At which point you continue with a tiny I-cord tab that adds the finishing touch – just like every French beret.

Yarn
Trendsetter’s Puno Due – 63% Cotton, 37% Baby Alpaca – DK Weight, 50 grams, 235 yards/214.9 meters
This light-weight DK, feels like soft and gentle baby alpaca, but cotton subtly adds an almost secret level of strength and durability. The little glow of alpaca brings pleasure to the knitting as you work, and a touch of class to the look of your finished creation.
The on-screen color representations for yarn may not be precise representations of actual colors due to variance in monitor calibrations.
