Pattern
A simple cable combination creates a fresh new cable pattern that suggests a playful spinning pinwheel. When it was repeated in columns the Addison pattern took shape. It is worked from the top down with set in sleeves, which are also worked from the top down. The result is a nicely tailored sweater pattern that provides interest as you knit, and a delightful multi-season addition to your wardrobe.

Pattern
It was the bamboo in Sueño yarn and an antique kimono that inspired this open coatigan. To showcase the simple construction of kimonos this piece is designed to be worked sideways. An openwork stitch pattern is combined with subtle, visible floats to add decorative detail and knitting interest. Two pieces are worked from the cuffs to the center of the back, then joined with a 3-needle bind off and finished with a band that caresses the neck.

Pattern
After finishing my Marcella Kimono Cardigan, I decide it would be fun to translate the design into a wrap. An openwork stitch pattern combined with subtle, visible floats creates a mirrored design. It is started in the center with provisional cast on stitches and worked to the edge. Then the provisional stitches are picked up and the second half is worked in the opposite direction, finishing with I-cord edging. Enjoy the beautiful hand of Sueño as you knit, then slip into your cozy wrap and relax with a cup of tea.
