Charlotte is named after the historic town of Charlotte Amalie on the island of Saint Thomas. The design is a tribute to the warn ocean waves that wash the sandy beaches. It is a bit deceptive because it is much easier that it appears—two-by-two rib with alternating groups of drop stitches. The tunic is fashioned from two simple rectangles artfully sewn at the shoulders and the sides. The beautiful, soft recycled linen yarn and the stitch pattern allow the piece to drape and grow with a soft flowing ease.

Solo Lino – 80% Recycled Linen, 20% Linen – Sport Weight - Eco-Yarn

Unlike traditional linen, this amazing yarn is soft and gentle on the hands. And feels wonderful against your skin. It is available in beautiful pastels and rich hues. The on-screen color representations for yarn may not be precise representations of actual colors due to variance in monitor calibrations.

14 sts and 22 rows = 4"/10cm

Sophisticated, elegant, stylish, chic. After seeing James’ collection, I may give up needlepoint.

These designs take men's sweaters to a whole new level of luxury and deliciousness. Might have to get a new man once my divorce goes through, just so I can knit him a James Cox Knits sweater.
